There are twelve variations of the Anakin Skywalker minifigure as of March 2012, not including the Darth Vader variants. It is available in the Sith Nightspeeder 7957 set.
Anakin Skywalker is a central protagonist and as Darth Vader, a central antagonist of the Star Wars trilogies and expanded universe. This minifigure is based on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, set between Star Wars Episode II and III. SW317 was released in 2011 and is the second Clone Wars variant based on the television series.
ANAKIN SKYWALKER (SW317)
Anakin has a black-base torso, legs and hands which contrast with his dark-brown arms and hair piece. Printed back and front, Anakin wears a black and brown, multi-layered tunic and a dark-brown utility belt with gold / silver detailing and three pouches. He has a single-printed, flesh-coloured head with light-brown facial scars and hair, brown eyebrows, back mouth, and white / blue eyes with black pupils / white highlights.
This figure pretty closely resembles the cartoon version of Anakin. The detailed eyes, scars and expression reflect his character’s depth and personality. The tunic is nicely layered, and has some good clothing fold details. The reddish-brown hair piece is quite detailed and reflects a nicely modern style.
No leg printing, but not much to print there anyway considering that he wears a long tunic.
